REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

General Policy Statement

Align Retreats LLC journeys are intentionally limited, application-based, and capacity-controlled. Once a participant is accepted and reserves a space, that space is removed from availability and operational commitments are made.

For this reason, refunds are limited and governed strictly by the terms outlined below.

Deposit Policy

  • A $750 non-refundable deposit is required to Hold Your Spot upon acceptance.
  • The deposit is applied toward the total journey cost.
  • The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
    • Personal illness or injury
    • Family emergencies
    • Travel disruptions
    • Schedule changes
    • Weather events
    • Changes in personal or financial circumstances

The deposit secures your reservation and compensates for planning, administration, and capacity allocation.

  • Cancellation 6 months prior to departure will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee for the
  • total price of the tour
  • You cannot cancel up to 3 months prior to departure. If you cannot make it, you WILL LOSE
  • THE TOTAL COST of the trip

Cancellation by Participant

If a participant cancels their participation, the following terms apply:

Cancellation Timeline

  • More than 90 days before departure:
    • Deposit is forfeited
    • Any additional payments made may be eligible for refund, less unrecoverable costs, at Leyline Travel’s discretion
  • 90 days or fewer before departure:
    • No refunds will be issued for any payments made
    • Participant remains financially responsible for the full journey cost

Covered Events & Travel Insurance

Participants acknowledge that travel insurance is their primary financial protection for events including, but not limited to:

  • Illness or injury (self or family member)
  • Medical emergencies
  • Airline, ferry, or transportation disruptions
  • Missed connections or delays
  • Weather-related interruptions
  • Government restrictions or border closures
  • Acts of God or force majeure events

Align Retreats LLC does not issue refunds for circumstances typically covered by travel insurance. Any reimbursement must be pursued directly through the participant’s insurance provider.

Failure to obtain travel insurance does not create additional refund rights.

Cancellation or Removal by Align Retreats LLC

Align Retreats LLC reserves the right to:

  • Cancel a journey due to insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, force majeure, or circumstances beyond its control
  • Remove a participant whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or incompatible with the group or journey container

In Such Cases:

  • If Align Retreats LLC cancels the journey prior to departure, participants will receive a refund of payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit, unless otherwise stated.
  • If a participant is removed due to conduct, no refund will be issued, and the participant remains responsible for any additional costs incurred.

Travel Interruptions or Early Departure

If a participant chooses or is required to leave a journey early for any reason:

  • No refunds will be issued for unused services, accommodations, or activities
  • Leyline Travel is not responsible for additional travel or accommodation costs incurred

Non-Transferability

Journey reservations are non-transferable. Spaces may not be sold, gifted, or reassigned without written approval from Align Retreats LLC, which may be granted or denied at its sole discretion.

No Exceptions Policy

Refund requests based on personal circumstances, misunderstandings, or dissatisfaction with subjective experience will not be granted.

Participation in a Align Retreats LLC journey is an intentional commitment, not a consumer tourism purchase.

Relationship to Other Agreements

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated by reference into and must be read in conjunction with:

  • Retreat Participation Agreement & Liability Waiver
  • Travel Insurance Requirement
  • Application Agreement and Terms

In the event of any conflict, this Refund & Cancellation Policy shall govern refund eligibility.

Acknowledgment

By submitting an application, paying a deposit, or making any payment to Align Retreats, participants acknowledge that they:

  • Have read and understood this Refund & Cancellation Policy
  • Understand that travel insurance is required and serves as their primary protection
  • Accept the non-refundable nature of the deposit
  • Agree to be bound by these terms
